Testimonies from the mission field

These are stories of how God has impacted the world though the lives of everyday people.  They will inspire and affect you when you open your heart to God to receive their message.

My testimony is simply a story of a great God. Mark 16:15 says Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation; all I did was to say “Yes” to His word. Everything from that point on was God gently pointing and guiding as His Holy Spirit orchestrated relationships, places to go and provision...

Having spent the last six weeks in Guatemala I feel incredibly blessed to have been provided with such an amazing experience. It's awesome to feel God helping you to stretch your limits and grow as a person! God has showed much of what he has planned for me and what my calling might be in life. I have gotten to know so many amazing people who I am happy to call friends. Thanks so much to Greg Miller for providing me with the opportunity to come and help out at HOH. It really is wonderful work that he and his staff are doing and I can really see God working through them. Thanks so much to my sponsors for making this trip even possible!

I also would like to extend a very overdue THANK YOU!  I sincerely appreciate your willingness to work with Abby and get her settled in and over the anxiety she was feeling the first few days.  You were absolutely right encouraging her to stay and complete her 3 weeks.  Upon returning home she stated that “next time I want to stay longer!”  It was a successful adventure for her and I hope that she was helpful to you. Blessings.

Hey Greg,  I want to thank you for sharing your story with me and supporting me when I was in Guatemala. God really worked in me and I have not had a panic attack since July 4th. Thank you for helping me get to this point. I am also wondering how the court date for Ellioth and the siblings went on Wednesday? Praying it went well.

My wife, Brooke, asked me if I would like to go on a mission trip to Guatemala. I didn’t have any good reason to go. What a mistake that would’ve been… The trip to Central America was life changing for me. I am a fairly new Christian and I have some growing to do. I grew a lot with the help of Greg Miller. Greg is a simple man. What you see is what you get. What I saw, was a man who was on fire for God and loves Jesus!! Greg has been blessed to do 2 things; what he wants to, and what God wants him to do. Greg is also a wonderful dad and husband. Greg was an inspiration to me and a role model on doing something you believe in. Every question I had or situation I doubted, or confidence about something I lacked, he provided scripture for. I come back to the states with a renewed view of life, a stronger relationship with God and a revived respect forhumanity in general. Greg has a gift of ministering to the Guatemala people and utilizing a team from another country to help him. It’s no coincidence that all 14 of us were impacted by the trip, the inspirations that we had from each other and, the life lessons learned from a wonderful culture of people. I have to give God ALL of the credit for everything that we experiencedin those nine days. I am thankful that God is using Greg the way he is. This doesn’t even scratch the surface… This trip should be experienced by everyone.

Pastor Greg Thank you so much for having me here and teaching me the many things you have taught me. Greg you are a truly wonderful, loving man who is serving God so amazingly. I wish I had the balls, let alone the trust in God that you have to do what you do and have the faith that He will provide for you and your family. I know that will come in my walk and also with yours and Burt’s guidance. You have an amazing family and I am truly blessed that I got to meet them, let alone spend time with them. This trip has shown me so many wonderful things that I can do with my life, let alone change things in my life. I am so honored that God made you one of my spiritual markers that He made this trip one, and your family. It’s so crazy how you give your heart to all these people everyday and your so loving to them. You truly inspire me to become that person of God who can and will make a difference in others lives. So thank you again and God bless you and your family.

I just wanted to take time out to thank pastor Greg Miller for letting us come into his life and helping out at the house of hope. You can tell that he has a genuine love for what he is doing and you don't see that a lot anymore. Everything he does is for the glory of God and I look up to that. I am so thankful for him and his wife for doing amazing things for the children and the people in the mountains. Thank you for showing me Gods joy and love and I can't wait to see you all soon! God bless❤
